Mihaela may not have been born with a Kendama in her hand, but she hasn’t put one down since she got her first one five years ago. Since then, she’s taken the kendama scene by storm and is arguably one of the most creative players in the game right now. Now 21 years old, Mihaela pushes the limits daily. My name is Mihaela Mihajlovic, a 21-year-old girl born and raised in Serbia. Although, I am currently studying and working in Budapest, Hungary. I picked up my first kendama in February 2014 and since then I can’t put it down. Growing as a player who mostly plays alone, Youtube kendama edits really inspired my all-around style, not only with kendama but in other aspects of life as well.
My biggest inspiration has always been Jake Wiens, by bringing creativity to another level and doing several other things besides kendama made me push my limits as well. Another legend in my eyes is Bryan Scagline, with his passion towards the things he does and obviously his editing skills. I love the aesthetic, vapor-wave themed videos, pictures which I try to mix into my style as well.
Thinking of my younger self who watched the Kendama USA japan edits more times than any other series, makes me be super honored to be part of the Kendama USA family, and be the newest TRIBE member. I am looking forward to push my boundaries even more and represent Kendama USA in the European scene. Thanks for everyone who supported me from all around the world! MUCH LOVE!”

Where are you from? Where do you live now?
I am from Bulgaria. I live in Plovdiv , one of the oldest cities in Europe . I got two girls; two Jack Russels.
How did you first hear about Kendama?
A friend of mine showed me Kendama and gifted me my first dama. Six months later I started playing more often. Seeing some early edits of Kusa Pro Team Jake Wiens, Dave Mateo, Colin Sander, and everybody on the crew got me and my friends into this crazy kendama journey. Inspiring tricks and flow.
How long have you been playing?
Since 2015. So that makes it 5 years?

Took my name on the draft for KUSA and helped me get on the team
How’d you meet?
We met in Latvia and we got the chance to make some big kendama jams over there.
Do you host a jam in your community?
Not just me 🙂 Lots of Jams are happening already in a few Places in Plovdiv. I do it as often as I can.
